Accessibility statement

What we aim for

We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. That is the target rather than a certification, and we treat any gap between the target and the site as something to fix.

What is in place

• A skip link to the main content as the first focusable element on every page
• Semantic headings in order, with one H1 per page
• Landmark regions — header, navigation, main, and footer — for assistive technology
• Visible focus indicators on every interactive element
• Labels tied to every form field, with required fields announced to screen readers
• Form errors delivered in a live region rather than by colour alone
• Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and decorative icons hidden from assistive technology
• Text that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to a 320-pixel viewport
• Colour combinations chosen to meet AA contrast for body text and interface elements

Known limitations

This site is maintained by a small business rather than a dedicated accessibility team, and we have not commissioned a formal third-party audit. Some pages carry long descriptive passages that may be tiring to navigate by screen reader; the on-page navigation and headings are there to make skipping between sections easier.
