Why specialise this narrowly
Luxury vinyl plank became the most-installed residential floor in the Treasure Valley faster than the trade adapted to it. A lot of crews install it the way they installed laminate a decade ago, and the product does not behave the same way. It is thinner, it is less forgiving of an uneven substrate, its rigid core moves with temperature, and the stairs are a glue-down job even when the field is floating.
Installing one category every day means we know where it fails and what the manufacturers actually require. We read the installation instructions for the specific product going into your house, because flatness tolerance, expansion gap, maximum uninterrupted run, and underlayment compatibility all vary between lines.
How we quote
We do not price LVP from a photo or a listing square footage. Every estimate follows an on-site measure with a flatness survey, and slab-level rooms get moisture tested against the product’s requirement. The prep that comes out of those readings is quoted as its own line, separate from the field install.
That is deliberately less convenient than a flat per-square-foot rate. It is also the only way a homeowner with a flat, sound slab is not subsidising a homeowner whose subfloor needs a levelling pour.
What we will tell you plainly
- When LVP is the wrong product for a room, and what we would use instead
- When a floor can be repaired rather than replaced
- What we found under the old floor, before we cover it up
- When a problem is outside flooring scope — a slab crack, a moisture source, structural movement
- When a wear layer chosen on price will not survive the traffic in that room

We have deliberately kept this site free of review counts, award badges, and statistics we cannot substantiate. If something on these pages reads as a claim, it should be one you can check — a manufacturer specification, an ASTM test method, a registration number, or a description of work we actually perform.
Feedback and references
You will not find testimonials on this site. We are not willing to publish quotes or star counts that a visitor cannot independently verify, and a review section filled with unattributable praise tells you nothing about your project.
What we will do instead: at the on-site measure, ask us about comparable jobs in your area and the subfloor conditions we found there. Verified public feedback will be linked here as it accumulates.
